Back in August of 2013, I elected to start my own website regarding hockey and all things encompassing it.
Then, I was entering my sophomore year of high school with no true journalism experience. Developing my own website gave me an outlet to express my writing and views on a sport which I am highly familiar in, and it gave me an introduction into the writing world. It also gave me a chance to work on website design and social media growth — as the page got better and the Twitter grew to over 7,000 followers.
Over the years, the content has change and evolved, but it unfortunately took a backseat to work for The Setonian, internships and school as my college career progressed. However, recent pieces remain and hopefully help demonstrate my skill in covering hockey. As time goes on and my college career comes to a close, I will hopefully come around to writing here again.
